How crazy an idea is that? Traffic wardens have enough power - but now they’re going to have the power to fine skip hire companies for not having lights, permits or overloading the skips? It’s the customers that overload the skip, and lights get nicked by students all the time. Fair enough on the permits, but the question is: who are they going to fine? Is a skip hire company going to have to leave CCTV on their skips to prove that they did leave lights on them?
